- Each team member should check their own equipment to make sure it is in top shape. This includes your gun, hopper, tank, barrels, packs, pods, shoes, squeegies, tools, gear bags etc. What you may have to do it replace batteries, clean, grease, washing etc,
-Make sure you have all your soft gear like what you are going to wear all setout, make sure you have spare cloths washed and packed in a bag.
-Get all of your personal finances straitened away... make sure you have money for entry PAID in advance, and or course paint, transortation, food, misc
Now for team prep:
-get pics, vids, and opitnions about the field and teams you will be playing....
knowing your competition is an invaluable asset
-Go over basic strats and breaks. Make sure your teamates have positions
and know what there role it, what theyare expected to do, and what happens
in 2v3, 1v3 etc.
-Get your team rolling, keep a positive attititude.
-Make sure you go over communication, ie bunker names, and other misc commands
And for the love of all things paintball.
-Dont argue with reffs, let your team capt talk reasonably with the refs
-Either have people helping your team fill pods, whipe off, fill air, and
fix problems OR make sure your team helps eachother out between matches.
-Drink a small amount of non-cafenated drink between rounds.
-Make sure you have a sprat bottle of water and paper towel to whipe offf
the goggs shots.
And most importantly, go out on the field with a cheerful attitude and go to have fun. In game it is all busniess but it doesnt have to be full of cursing and swearing.
And have back up markers
